Sorry to here that. You can always setup a gofundme page and get help here on the forums to spread that link. I would also double check the diagnosis of the laptop failing. Like pop open the bottom panel and see if the fans are clogged. While you have it open, stick that drive into another computer to copy all unfinished work and software licenses you may have. Apologize if you done that already.
Thanks for the suggestions! A gofundme page sounds like a good idea but I would have to do some research because I have never done anything like that before. And yeah a friend of mine already helped to save my files
